Job description

  • You investigate the molecular mechanism of light-regulated adventitious root development.
  • You study the behavior of in vitro grown mutants and transgenics (genome editing).
  • You analyze the expression of key signaling gene using reporters and transcriptomics.
  • You are interested in fundamental and applied research.
  • You contribute to teaching (practical courses) and the functioning of the research group.

Job profile

  • You have a good knowledge of molecular biology, biotechnology and genetics.
  • You understand techniques such as genome editing, transcriptome analysis and tissue culture.
  • You are able to perform statistical analyses independently.
  • You enjoy working with advanced microscopes and molecular biology.
  • You seek challenges and have a good capacity for creative problem solving.
  • You have a critical mindset and are eager to learn.
  • You are a good communicator and wish to become dive into the world of scientific research and discovery as part an international team.
